This forest house — designed by Oksana Sazon — intertwines dark elegance with organic elements. Located in the heart of the forest, you can see nature’s serenity meeting a modern design style. The end result? A space that is both calming and inspiring. As you live here, you’ll feel a warm embrace by Mother Nature as you do your everyday tasks. One that keeps you relaxed throughout the day, even if the to-do list is never-ending.

Stepping in, we are greeted by an inviting seating area. The plush, beige sofas — with their soft, curved forms — beckon you to sink in. The textured upholstery contrasts beautifully with the dark, smooth surfaces of the coffee table. Finally, the pair of matte black floor lamps factor in luxury, all while keeping it sleek.

This seating area is the perfect example of how comfort and style can coexist. The earthy tones and soft textures create a sense of relaxation. In contrast, the dark accents add sophistication. It’s a space where you can imagine yourself unwinding with a good book… surrounded by the quiet beauty of the forest. 🤎

We especially love the dark wood tones — used for the table, flooring, and cabinetry — adding richness to the space. This also brings in natural elements to give you a true experience of indoor-outdoor living, as do the organically shaped coffee table and plush area rug.

The dining room in this space continues to capture the essence of moody minimalism. The dark wooden flooring, dining table, and accent wall (read: cabinetry) set a dramatic ambiance. This is complemented by statement chairs that completely steal the show and the matte black pendant lights providing illumination.

A statement feature (and, well, the only decor accessory) in the dining room is the tabletop potted plant. This features a ceramic, organically shaped vase. Its black color adds to the moody ambiance. The plant in this vase makes you feel like you’re sitting right in the middle of the jungle — even when indoors.

Finally, a special mention to the large glass wall with no window treatments. This boosts stunning views of the outdoors. It also seamlessly blends the indoors with the outdoors. Enjoying a meal here will feel like a vacation spent camping amidst Mother Nature… except you get to enjoy it every day!
