As the world of interiors continues to embrace the grey and beige decor palette, we’re paying special attention to a home that perfectly harmonises this warm meets cool combo. This modern interior, visualised by Ira Lysiuk, displays a beautiful balance of each tone through colour blocking and contrasting textures. Bespoke furniture maximises the floor space inside the apartment, with many of the larger elements built to hug the walls and central support columns. An all round solid modern home interior, rich with chic inspirational elements.
Bespoke seating hugs the central support column of the living room, clinging around its flat sides to furnish both the lounge and a separate formal dining area.
The TV wall features another custom made design, this time in the shape of an eye-catching media unit. It not only stretches the full length of the TV feature wall but elbows around to form the base of the staircase too. Textured beige tiles fill the wall edge-to-edge, and climb all the way up the stairwell.
The media unit comes to a stop at an extra tall plant stand, which is attentively lit from above by a mini wall light.
The base of the bespoke sofa is a solid wood volume, built to match the wood flooring planks. The tone is carried into soft furnishings via a single brown accent cushion, artfully placed on the cool graphite sofa.
A slice is cut out of the concrete support wall behind the sofa, creating a tantalising glimpse into the space behind.
At one end of the sofa, the corner of the base becomes a handy side table, with an accessible storage hatch in which to stash electronic devices and media.
The pale kitchen is also the walkway from the home entryway to the lounge. Sleek gloss kitchen cabinets keep the look clean and minimalist.
The modern staircase design features twisting treads on a central support, almost like vertebra twisting in spinal movement.
Wire-thin balustrades string up the edges of each tread, strengthening its unique poise.
The wraparound sofa morphs into a banquette seat on the dining room side. A rectangle dining table pulls up to it, with formal grey dining chairs seated around its outer edges.
A pegboard wine rack fills the dining room wall, looking beautiful and delicious.
A linear chandelier echoes the thin black treads of the staircase across the room, and the black pegs of the wine wall beside it. Black vertical radiators interrupt the light window wall.
The wooden table receives a stone tray with a traditional teapot.
Upon entering the home, a Muxarabi screens off the lounge area from direct view.
Black kitchen bar stools skirt a wooden breakfast bar, which cuts around a concrete support wall.
The pale one wall kitchen is cut through with a moody granite backsplash and worktop. Black appliances and fixtures meld with the dark interlude.
Matching units flank either side of the home entryway, which has been defined with an all encompassing charcoal colour scheme. A grey entryway bench sits on a colour coordinated floor, beneath a matching wall shelf, walls and ceiling.
Ribbed wall tiles that feature in the living room are repeated inside the bedroom design. A sharp grey upholstered bed contrasts with the feature wall’s tonal beige finish.
Beige accent cushions coordinate with the light timber of a built-in window seat.
A grey vanity stool blends with the shadows beneath a floating makeup table and modern vanity mirror.
Floating bedside units wing the bed.
The visual depth of the bedroom is elongated thanks to a glass closet at its far end.
Modern bedside wall lamps match the illuminated vanity mirror design.
Moving past the glass to enter the walk in wardrobe, we discover a spacious setup with an organised system of rails, shelves and suspended drawer units.
The bathroom is a calming beige space, fashioned with chic limestone.
A double sink bathroom vanity introduces a strike of black into the peaceful decor, along with a black edged bath screen and matt black fixtures.
Narrow black tower shelving builds a slick design feature within a highly practical piece. A black towel rail disrupts the adjacent wall.
This single bedroom design is heavily characterised by a bold inspirational quote, painted straight onto grey alcoves. A beige platform bed looks warm and welcoming against the cool backdrop.

A beige swivel chair matches with a modern desk and pegboard design.
Greenery sprouts from a floor planter.
The wireframe planter matches the legs of the modern home office desk, and colour matches a black pegboard shelf and vertical radiator.

A second single bedroom incorporates a bespoke floor bed design.
Another inspiration quote blazes across the wall.
support natural timber shelves.
Black track lighting draws around the room layout in a U-shape, dipping into the alcoves created by closets.
A workspace hangs out by the window.
The powder room is an all grey, all tile scheme, lightened only by a single beige hand towel and a modern wall sconce.
A tiny recess has been cut into the concealed cistern wall to neatly store a couple of toilet rolls. A black handheld bidet spray matches the black flush plate, and the matt black faucet over at the vanity.
