Here, our four featured home designs employ smooth grey, white and wood decor to create an air of elegance within luxe modern open plan living spaces. The peaceful palette has been combined with stylish furniture, textured finishes and easy flowing layouts to create tasteful layers. The atmosphere of prevailing calm unites pale grey lounge spaces, contemporary oak and walnut kitchen designs and polished modern dining spaces. In this 100 square metre private apartment, located in Dubai, UAE, the open plan living room is an impressive double height space that’s filled with natural light. Gentle curves shape a graceful lounge area via a soft grey round rug and an elegant curved sofa design.
Above the sofa, bronze modern wall sconces make deep contrast with crisp white walls. A smaller seating area is arranged by the window, where vertical tiles pattern a statement wall.
The tiled feature wall draws the eye all the way up the towering room height beyond the modern wall sconces and matching bronze ceiling fan.
Indoor plants introduce a refreshing display of greenery through the living space. The plants also serve as a subtle zoning device between the individual seating areas and the dining room.
An oval dining table continues the smooth curvaceous decor aesthetic.
RIbbed table legs complement the linear nature of adjacent wooden window blinds.

An L-shaped kitchen installation wraps wood effect cabinets around the dining area. A pretty patterned backsplash extends all the way up behind open kitchen shelving and a unique screened extractor hood.
