We’re starting off with this large bedroom scheme, which showcases custom-built bedroom storage solutions around its perimeter. To accommodate a longer run of closet space, the contemporary bed has been moved away from the main wall, and instead a floating headboard wall has been created with a sheet of thick perspex.

The use of this clear material allows light to flow through onto the closets so that clothing choices can be made in natural light, and also allows the homeowner to continue to watch the television on the opposite side whilst getting dressed.

In an alternative scheme for the same space, a solid headboard wall privately sections off moodily lit closets, giving an atmospheric look.
