With its dramatically dominating rockface feature wall, this spectacular home design is reminiscent of the Norwegian mountainside home by the same designer. The extraordinary statement wall is a powerful magnet for the eyes, and all other elements in the room are kept low profile and colour coordinated so as not to compete with the hero piece.

A soft grey modular sofa wraps around the edges of the lounge in a large and welcoming U-shaped arrangement, which counteracts the rough and rugged rock wall.

LED lighting has been set back in the ceiling to perfectly highlight the craggy contour of the rockface. In contrast, the adjacent walls are smooth sheetrock, punctured with neat recessed shelving nooks. A floor to ceiling log store slices between the bookshelves and the modern fireplace to build a textural divide.

A unique pair of stone nesting coffee tables add interest at the centre of the U-shaped modular sofa arrangement.
5 |
A huge window breaks open one end of the luxurious living room. A large wall mounted TV provides a different sort of view.
6 |
The different zones of the open plan living room are united with the same stone grey color palette and floor tiles. A linear suspension light provides a subtle, low hanging room divide over the dining spot.
7 |
The suspension light aligns with a stone cantilevered dining table design, which brings a creamier tone to the cool decor palette.

The bespoke dining table design extends along the lounge wall to serve as a floating tv stand too. The seamless merge of two furniture pieces keeps the living room layout clean and uncluttered. Four modern dining chairs tuck tidily beneath the floating surface.
One arm of the L-shaped kitchen installation is a floating volume, where LEDs shine in place of kickboards and wall cabinets. On the other wall, full height kitchen cabinets form a solid, continuous volume with the hallway storage and matching grey wall panels.

The bathroom situated off the hallway is a stunning hidden gem, blessed with a spectacular floor to ceiling sea view.
12 |
Once inside the bathroom, slate tiles make a smooth pathway across a pebbled floor toward a unique bathroom sink.
13 |
The beautiful stone sink is complemented by a luxe stone clad shower enclosure. A ceiling mounted vanity mirror cuts down in front of the skyscape to meet the basin.
14 |
A wall hung square toilet and bidet set have been selected in a modern grey colourway to complement the stone elements in the decor scheme. Sleek grey panels conceal the cistern.
15 |
The living room’s dual aspect modern fireplace creates a viewing window to the impressive home entryway, where a frameless glass balustrade continues the clear line of sight.
16 |
A mini zen garden is bedded beneath the elegant staircase design, where it thrives on the natural sunlight that filters through the open risers above.
17 |
Upstairs, a second mountainous accent wall forms the backbone of the master bedroom design.
18 |
A custom-made floating platform bed is cantilevered off the rockface. A textured rug slides into the void beneath the gravity defying bed base to draw attention to its hovering aesthetic.
19 |
Smooth stone bedsides wing from headboard to store a library of bedtime reading, an elegant lamp and just a couple decorative items. The stone headboard/bedside cabinet combo merges into an ensuite bathroom installation, where the stonework becomes a unique bathtub design.
20 |
Slatted screening builds a textural entry into the bedroom. 3D wall art creates light play upon the polished concrete grey wall.
21 |
Double doors give entry to a luxurious walk in wardrobe.
22 |
The split floor level dramatises the bedroom layout, and builds opportunity for contrasting floor finishes.
23 |
A bed of pebbles cradles the special bathtub, which has its own tiny zen garden planted at one end.
24 |
Fresh towels stack on the stone shelf that merges with the bespoke bed design. A bathroom suspension light snakes across the breathtaking view.
25 |
A large shower enclosure opens up at the other end of the tub, capping off the decorative stretch of pebbled floor.
26 |
A chic stone pedestal sink is married with a perfectly matched stone toiletries table. A huge floor to ceiling vanity mirror reflects the rockface headboard feature wall behind.
27 |
Stainless steel bathroom fixtures meld with the cool grey bathroom aesthetic.
28 |
The second set of slimline double doors in the bedroom lead to a WC. The split level flooring design continues inside of this small space, with a wall mounted toilet and bidet situated at the top of two steps. Stone cladding encases the cistern and plumbing, under the bright illumination of a skylight.
