This is certainly not the first time we have featured loft designs on this blog but with the popularity of urban living along with the drive to reuse and renovate spaces, there is no shortage of new design ideas emanating from the idea of lofts. In this post, we are featuring loft designs from around the globe that have taken the grit and grime of their former industrial lives and turned them into something gleaming, glistening , and clean. It's as if these lofts put Crest Whitestrips on their dingy interiors and now have a spectacular new TV-ready life. Step inside these snowy white lofts for a look at what an artistic life of luxury can get you.
The first loft has all the desirable trappings of a converted industrial space. Sky high ceilings over look the wide open spaces below. Floor to ceiling windows let light stream in and across the varied but simple industrial-inspired accessories including steel chairs and concrete walls. The space maintains warmth by including not just plenty of white and light but also smooth wood flooring.
The next loft is a Scandinavian style design from the heart of Prague in the Czech Republic. White washes over the home from its painted brick accent walls to its exposed ceiling beams. This particular loft does not shy away from design trends either. A few pops of neon yellow create a playful contrast with chevron stripes. And what hip loft design would be complete without some faux taxidermy.
Although we only have a couple of images from this final white loft, it is not difficult to discern the style. Unlike many of the loft designs we have featured, this particular one has lower ceilings. Still, the open floorplan and modern furniture, particularly the mossy green plush seating, belie a simple, modern loft-inspired look.
